Alexis is One!!

Alexis turned One years old!!

Alexis was One on September 22, 2008, and I just cannot believe that it has already been a year since I had her. It is crazy!! We had her party yesterday, September 27, 2008. It turned out really well! The theme was cupcakes, and the colors were brown with pink polka dots. It was so cute! I made her a tutu dress for her birthday outfit, with shoes to go along with it. It turned out a lot better than I thought it would. Guess I am more talented than I thought.

We had about twenty people there, and she got so many new toys!!! I am excited, but at the same time, overwhelmed, because now I have toys everywhere!! I am thinking she will be getting a toy box for christmas. ha ha.

Other than that, we are all doing really well right now. In the middle of looking for a house so we can buy one after the first of the year. I am very excited about that. Anyway, I will write later!

It is official now, Alexis, is walking!! She is all over the place now, but it is so cute! She really takes her time with each step that she takes, and when she does reach her destination, she claps her hands and says, "yeah!" She is so proud of her accomplishment!

I am currently getting things prepared for Lexi's big first birthday party on the 27th. We have family coming in and friends coming and it is going to be a lot of fun. I am very excited to celebrate and wach Lexi open all of her gifts. I just cannot believe that she is already a year old. Time really does fly by and eventhough it is exciting to see them grow up, it is sad at the same time.

Things are good for us right now...just busy with work and the birthday plans. With the holidays coming up I am sure it will not get any less busier. I will be posting birthday pictures soon....
